Stucky - Venetian Plaster
Venetian Plaster with Glossy Surface
General Features:
Stucky is a mineral stucco composed of lime putty and selected marble dust.
Texture:
Glossy, extremely fine.
Uses:
Decorative interior finishing coat.
Substrate Preparation:
The substrate must be perfectly dry, dust-free, with no
humidity and salts stains. Seal the substrate with an oil based primer
or manufacturer recommended equivalent.
Application Procedure & Recommendations:
Base Coat: Brush or roll on a base coat of Preludio primer. This base coat will provide a surface with adequate
tooth and ensure even an suction of the finish coat.
Finish Coats:
Using an Pavan stainless steel 824/I Inox trowel, apply consecutive coats of Stucky wet on wet. Two to
three coats are recommended.
Polishing:
Ensure your Inox trowels blade is newly polished and free of any
imperfections. Polish the final coat of Stucky with a clean Inox blade before
the material is completely dry.
Yield:
Between (0.6 - 0.8 kg/m^2) in three coats, depending
on substrate conditions and the final effect required.
Color Range:
White base.
Stucky can be pigmented with Stucky pigments for a wide range of colors.
